Striped Pipit Anthus lineiventris (720)
(Gestreepte Koester)
Experiences with species

I first saw Striped Pipit in 2007 singing it's heart out on the roof of the lodge where my friend Hanno worked. We were trying to find a Tree Pipit and instead came up with Striped in Gosha Park. Now I find them from time to time in various birding spots, it's quite a distinctive pipit with the yellow in its primaries - the call is also quite distinct.
