Experiences with species Cape Wagtails are common in Gauteng - these nominate birds have a full breast band, whereas the race found in the north of our region (simplicissima) only have a central chest spot. The wings lack white bars, which young African Pied Wagtails have, otherwise looking very similar. Other names: - |
