Experiences with species We walked a steep path with nasty razor grass looking for this bird in Honde Valley in Zimbabwe, without success, although we did get Short-winged Cisticola. We looked for it in Caia near the pontoon site, and were about to get back into the cars when Pieter heard it calling - we walked across to where we heard it, and saw it sitting in the top of a bush, singing away. I've since seen it on a few occasions, and far improved my photo of it on Mt. Gorongosa. Other names: African Moustached Warbler |
