Fairly common throughout Southern Africa. Particularly abundant at water holes in Kgalagadi. (Making good meals for the multitudes of Raptors!) They are not popular with the AA due to their constant call: "Drink Laaaaaaaaager!, Drink Laaaaaaaaager!"
