Experiences with species

I had wanted to see one of these birds ever since I first went out on a pelagic trip in 2008. On this 2011 trip, we encountered some heavy seas, the string winds during the week had also brought in a lot of the less common species, and kept several hundred Prions in the vicinity of Cape Point. The dynamic and graceful flight of these small birds is brilliant to watch.
